On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, a ‘Gandhi March’ through the city of The Hague will be organized to highlight the importance of the message of non-violence and the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. We estimate around 300 school kids will take part in this march. The Gandhi march will begin from the Gandhi statue on Hobbemaplein at 0900 hrs and reach the Peace Palace compound around 1000 hrs. The rally will be addressed by H.E. Venu Rajamony, Ambassador of India, and Ms. Kavita Parbhudayal, Deputy Mayor of The Hague. The program will end at 1100 hrs.
